islamorada fishing report
By: Captain Ted Benbow
REDFISH In the backcountry, Redfishing is as good as it gets! Big Reds over 30" Up on the flats in 6 inches of water and against the mangroves, pitching shrimp and plastics has worked well. Spotted seatrout and small Tarpon are biting good as well. The other morning Capt Donnie Benbow and my self had a half day trip and we fished the shallow patch reefs. We had a great bite of hogfish and porgys, barracuda and grouper. Another great option is the toothed one, Im talking about big Shark! We have been catching big Sharks up to 7 foot in the Everglades. If you like catching something big, this is the trip for you!!
Well that the way we see it, want to give it a Give us a call! Til then this is Capt Ted and Capt Donnie Benbow of www.skinsandfinscharters.com asking you to "Keep it on the Shallow Grass" 305-393-0363 Email- [email protected]
